A fresh yoga class is coming — I’m still deciding which one feels right for the week’s energy.

Esoteric Tier

Last week we explored dreams, shared personal dreamwork, and went deeper into understanding symbolism.

This week we’ll be finishing the Minor Arcana in Tarot with the Suit of Wands — creativity, passion, direction, and the fire that moves us forward.

There will also be a tutorial for the Somatic Sensuality class, continuing our slow, embodied journey into softness, presence, and feminine expression.

🌙 Community Questions

1) Your yoga teacher journey — was it easy or difficult? How did you memorize so many poses, even in Sanskrit?

My teacher training itself wasn’t too challenging because I had already been practicing for many years. What I really needed — and loved — was going deeper into the philosophy, the part I hadn’t fully explored before. I already knew most of the poses and how I wanted to teach them. In the beginning, I planned everything carefully, but now I trust my instincts. I usually have a general idea of where I want a class to go, and I let intuition guide the rest.

Learning Sanskrit isn’t hard once I decide to focus on it. I forget things occasionally, but teaching regularly keeps it fresh.

What was difficult was the online world.

My first class was posted on YouTube as part of my training, and I didn’t understand the algorithm or how people behave online. I had a small homestead channel before, and suddenly I was getting views and subscribers — but many were just “lookie‑loos,” not actual practitioners. That created confusion around my value, my body, and my worth. It brought up old shame and beliefs I didn’t know were still buried.

It’s been a lonely road at times — no one to talk to who truly understands, no one to bounce ideas off when I feel like I’m losing my mind. And all of this was happening while I was grieving my mom, navigating a painful rift with my stepmom, and dealing with my sister’s relapse and the fallout of asking her to leave. My support system hit an all‑time low.

But I kept going.

I healed.

I set boundaries.

I learned who I am and what I want to create.

Now I have people who actually practice the classes and benefit from them, which means everything. Engagement is still low, and sometimes it feels like talking into the void, but the few diehards who show up — you know who you are — and I appreciate you so much.

I’ve also started teaching in‑person in my community, and I continue doing the inner work every day. So all the advice I give in these videos I practice too,  although very imperfectly. That is the human way. We are not perfect, but it's perfect as long as you keep showing up:)

2) Do you ever fear your subconscious — dreams or waking thoughts — because it might reveal emotions you don’t want to face?

I don’t fear what comes up.

If anything, I get frustrated.

Lately I’ve been dreaming a lot about family conflicts. It’s not a mystery why — it’s painful, unresolved, and out of my control. I wish my brain would let it go, but the subconscious wants resolution, even when resolution isn’t possible. Maybe someday.

3) What exactly is the new moon as it relates to yoga?

I’m not sure about the “new moon” specifically in yoga, but I do know that lunar yoga is the feminine aspect of practice.

A solar flow is strong, structured, and energizing — masculine in nature.

A lunar flow is grounded, slow, fluid, and creative — feminine in nature.

It’s less about the moon itself and more about the energetic quality you’re trying to cultivate.
